Background
Microsoft Dynamics is a product division within Microsoft which markets and sells a line of integrated business management solutions, specifically ERP, CRM and supply chain management solutions that automate and streamline financial, customer relationship, and supply chain processes for mid market organisations.
Business Need
As part of the annual business plan development process, Microsoft was keen to ensure input from various stakeholders across the Dynamics business was gained into the execution plan for the fiscal.
Our Approach
We designed a one day workshop, which both maximised the diary availability of some 30 people from across the business, including sales and marketing, technical support and product management. BluEdge provided two facilitators and designed the day so that representatives worked in groups on clearly defined projects which were assimilated and presented back to the Director of the business at close of play.
Results
- A coherent set of recommendations and insight as input to the annual business plan for the fiscal which clearly supported the business metrics of the Group and had the buy-in of the multi-disciplined team from across the buisness.
